VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK:
Is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Minnesota. Visitor center tours, cruises, and children and adult programs are available.
MUSEUMS:
Koochiching County Historical Museum, Bronco Nagurski Museum, Sportsmen’s Wildlife Museum, Voyageur Museum, American Taxidermy and Wildlife Gallery.
SMOKEY BEAR PARK:
Have your picture taken with Smokey Bear and check the temperature on the Giant Thermometer.

GRAND MOUND INTERPRETIVE CENTER:
Just east of International Falls the Grand Mound is one of the largest Indian burial mounds found in North America. The center is open daily throughout the summer.
GOLD MINES OF RAINY LAKE:
Within a couple of miles of Island View Lodge are several abandoned gold mines from the turn of the century. They can only be reached by water. The Little American Mine is just around the corner from IVL. Voyageurs National Park has built a dock and a self guided walkway with plaques that explain and show what the mine was like. The Bushy Head mine can be seen from the lake.
